The Committee concludes that, on the basis of all the information submitted, the
complainant has not adduced sufficient evidence for it to consider that he would run a
foreseeable, real and personal risk of being subjected to torture if he were returned to his country
of origin.

Accordingly, the Committee, acting under article 22, paragraph 7, of the Convention
against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, concludes
that the State party’s decision to return the complainant to the Islamic Republic of Iran would not
constitute a breach of article 3 of the Convention.
