CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS In investigations the interviewing of witnesses, victims and suspects, personal searches, searches of vehicles and premises, and the interception of correspondence and communications: ● All police activities relating to the collection of evidence and criminal investigations shall be conducted only according to law, with due cause, and with respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, and shall be neither arbitrary nor unduly intrusive.
