IV. CONSIDERATION OF REPORTS SUBMITTED BY STATES PARTIES UNDER ARTICLE 19 OF THE CONVENTION 26. At its fifteenth and sixteenth sessions, the Committee considered reports submitted by 10 States parties under article 19, paragraph 1, of the Convention. At its fifteenth session, the Committee devoted 10 of the 18 meetings held to the consideration of reports (see CAT/C/SR.228, 229 and Add.2, 232, 233 and Add.1 and 3, 234, 235, 237/Add.1, 238, 239 and 242/Add.1). The following reports, listed in the order in which they had been received by the Secretary-General, were before the Committee at its fifteenth session: Denmark (second periodic report) CAT/C/17/Add.13 United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (second periodic report) CAT/C/25/Add.6 Senegal (second periodic report) CAT/C/17/Add.2 Armenia (initial report) CAT/C/24/Add.4 Guatemala (initial report) CAT/C/12/Add.5 Colombia (second periodic report) CAT/C/20/Add.4 27. The Committee agreed, at the request of the Governments concerned, to postpone the consideration of the initial report of Armenia and the second periodic report of Senegal. Subsequently, the Government of Armenia submitted a revised version of its report. 28. At its sixteenth session, the Committee devoted 12 of the 17 meetings held to the consideration of reports submitted by States parties (see CAT/C/SR.245-251, 252/Add.1, 253-255 and 256). The following reports, listed in the order in which they had been received by the Secretary-General, were before the Committee at its sixteenth session: Senegal (second periodic report) CAT/C/17/Add.14 Armenia (initial report) CAT/C/24/Add.4/Rev.1 Finland (second periodic report) CAT/C/25/Add.7 China (second periodic report) CAT/C/20/Add.5 Malta (initial report) CAT/C/12/Add.7 Croatia (initial report) CAT/C/16/Add.6 29. In accordance with rule 66 of the rules of procedure of the Committee, representatives of all the reporting States were invited to attend the meetings of the Committee when their reports were examined. All of the States parties whose reports were considered by the Committee sent representatives to participate in the examination of their respective reports. 30. In accordance with the decision taken by the Committee at its fourth session, 2/ country rapporteurs and alternate rapporteurs were designated by the Chairman, in consultation with the members of the Committee and the Secretariat, for each of the reports submitted by States parties and considered by the -8-
