44 // TOLERANCE AND NON-DISCRIMINATION
In 2017, ODIHR’s activities to promote
tolerance and non-discrimination focused
on building a comprehensive approach to
targeting hate crime. The Office’s activities
ranged from publishing data on hate crimes
and incidents across the OSCE region to
capacity-building programmes for police
officers, prosecutors and civil society
groups. ODIHR was also active in countering
anti-Semitism, tackling intolerance and
discrimination against Muslims and
Christians, and addressing racism and
xenophobia.
