Considering results of the internal investigation, a decision was taken to impose disciplinary punishments on individual senior officials of the Main MIA Directorate in Kyiv upon final procedural decision in the criminal proceedings initiated by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine in relation to this event. Conclusion of the internal investigation was sent to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine for consideration during pre-trial investigation. Following internal investigations, pursuant to an order #59o/c by the Main MIA Directorate in Kyiv dated 30 January 2015, 41 officials of internal affairs bodies were dismissed under disreputable circumstances, including 37 DAI inspectors. In addition, the inspector of platoon #2 of squadron #5 of the special regiment of the Main Directorate of the MIA major D.M. Sadovnyk was dismissed by the order of the Main MIA Directorate in Kyiv #33o/c dated 20 January 2015 for disciplinary violations. Conclusion of internal investigation was also sent to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine for decision in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine. 16
