CAT/C/52/D/525/2012 submitted by the complainant, including on the general situation in Algeria, the Committee considers that the complainant has not provided sufficient evidence to enable it to conclude that his extradition to Algeria would expose him to a foreseeable, real and personal risk of torture within the meaning of article 3 of the Convention. 8. The Committee against Torture, acting under article 22, paragraph 7, of the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, therefore concludes that the complainant’s extradition to Algeria does not constitute a breach of article 3 of the Convention.
