Notwithstanding this decrease - lower than that of 2014 to 2015 -, the number of procedures opened in the year to which this report refers is the fifth highest in the 41 years of activity of this State body, being only surpassed by the values registered between the years of 2012 to 2015. There were also 8 procedures opened by the Ombudsman initiative, equal or similar numbers to the ones registered in the last years.
