Unfortunately, the Committee had not received a reply by the end of its fourteenth session. D. Solemn declaration by a member of the Committee 9. At the 208th meeting, on 24 April 1995, the newly appointed member of the Committee, Mr. Habib Slim, made the solemn declaration upon assuming his duties, in accordance with rule 14 of the rules of procedure.
