Accordingly, the Committee finds that the fact that the author was detained with detainees with previous convictions during his pretrial detention in the circumstances of his case, did not constitute a violation of article 10 (2) (a) of the Covenant. 13. The Committee, acting under article 5 (4) of the Optional Protocol, is of the view that the facts before it do not reveal any violations of the Covenant. 12
