A very important segment of acting of the Protector of Citizens upon complaints is the provision of advisory-legal assistance which is provided by the Protector of Citizens even when the complaint is rejected because of incompetence or prematurity. Such advisory assistance is provided to citizens in 66.67 percent of rejected cases in this field. In such cases the Protector of Citizens refers the complainant to the competent body or advises them on available legal remedies. In the field of gender equality, in 86 cases it was indicated to 130 violations of rights whose good part refers to special rights in the field of gender equality and special rights in the field of LGBTI, which is presented in percentages in Tables 21 and 22.
