15 Working method and organisation External experts The NPM has the possibility to engage external expertise for individual visits. External experts are temporarily assigned to the NPM’s visit team during the preparation for and execution of one or more PLACE VISITED visits. They also assist in writing the visit report and contribute professional advice and competence building to the visit team. In 2015, the NPM was assisted by external experts in five of its 15 visits.
