Cooperation between the Committee and the Board of Trustees of the United Nations Voluntary Fund for Victims of Tortyre 11. The Committee and the Board of Trustees of the United Nations Voluntary Fund for Victims of Torture held a joint meeting on 29 April 1992, during the l07th meeting of the Committee. The Chairman of the Committee and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Jaap Walkate, provided information on the most recent activities of both or~ans. 12. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees stressed that in 1992, nearly US$ 3 million were needed to finance the rehabilitation projects for victims of torture addressed to the Fund but that only US$ 1.5 million had been made available by Governments or other sources.
