Monitoring activities was released in January 2021.25 The Commission’s recommendations set out in the report focus in particular on improving the resolution of conflicts, preventing violence and handling complaints. The Commission also sees a need for improvement when it comes to identifying vulnerable persons, providing access to basic psychiatric care, applying disciplinary measures and, in some cases, the infrastructure of the individual federal asylum centre in question.
