In accordance with Article 4 of the State Treaty on the establishment of a national mechanism of all Länder in accordance with Article 3 of the Optional Protocol of 18 December 2002 to the United Nations Convention against Torture and other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, the Ministers of Justice herewith nominate the following persons as members of the Joint Commission against Torture for four years: a) Elsava Schöner, former Leitende Regierungsdirektorin b) Albrecht Rieß, Presiding Judge at Stuttgart Higher Regional Court c) Petra Heß, former MP d) Rainer Dopp, former State Secretary 2.
