THEMATIC REPORT 2017 TORTURE AND MIGRATION POPULATION GROUP 371 clients studied in this report There are a total of 371 client records that were analysed across the five torture rehabilitation centres in this report. All clients allege that they have experienced torture and they are currently receiving treatment in one of the five torture rehabilitation centres. They also share similar experiences in that they have either been forcibly displaced through armed conflict or persecution, or they have migrated for another reason and are now living in a different country or context.
